All The Kings Horses

How would the world become, if there were no hierarchies? This story begins with a meeting between an aggressive pony and the author, Emelie Cajsdotter. This pony taught her that there is another way; a possibility to expand the self to include more than just a separate identity. An empathic way of communication. But for that to be possible, one must first erase all perceived differences in value.

After this meeting, the author has spent years traveling around the world asking the same question - is it necessary to use dominance in the handling of animals? This book is an account of that journey.

After encountering all sorts of animals, wild and domesticated, another structure gradually became perceptible. Instead of power struggles and pecking orders, there seems to be a completely different way of interbeing, based on each individual using full capacity in the right moment of time. Can it be possible for humans to be part of such a system? And could that help to put us back on the road to rebuilding our relationship with nature and the surrounding world?
