Jane Eyre

Jane Eyre was orphaned as a child and has felt an outcast her whole young life. When she is offered the position of governess at Thornfield Hall, an estate resembling a medieval castle. She has been hired by the owner, Edward Rochester to care for his ward Adèle. Jane falls in love with him, but there is a terrible secret at Thornfield Hall. Will that secret cause more heartbreak for Jane?

Jane Eyre is the second novel of the writer Charlotte Brontë, first published in 1847 under the pen name "Currer Bell”.
