HelMet is the library network of the public libraries in the Helsinki Metropolitan area.
The HelMet library provides its users with access to almost 200 magazines in digital format through the Zinio digital magazine service. The service is available across multiple platforms and devices from home and on the library computers. The collection covers a wide range of topics: news, business and science magazines, sports and music magazines as well as women's magazines and special interest magazines on topics such as home and decoration, gardening, boating or aviation.
HelMet Libraries also offer access to more than 2 500 mostly English-language independent films through the Indieflix service. You can watch the films where and when you wish. You need a HelMet library card and an internet connection for watching. Functions on computers, tablets and smartphones.
The English-language audiobooks are available for users with a HelMet library card. At the beginning of next year, Celia Library will make a selection of Finnish-language audiobooks freely available. You can browse the audiobooks using the topic menu on the left.
